I recently started using PCshorthand from a recommendation on this site and it has GREATLY increased my output! I type in Medi-Tec word-based and can store autocorrect but not autotext (i.e., long reports). However, I can store the long reports in shorthand and bring them up when necessary, temporarily storing them in autotext, thereby utilizing both programs for optimal production. I highly recommend PCshorthand, as it is compatible with many word-processor programs. I even use it when typing in regular word-processing.
