ExText Line Counts

I'm not sure about the line counts being the same. I did 5 documents with a 0 line count. These documents were at least 4 short paragraphs. After typing 10 documents, with a document almost one full page, I had a line count of 83.34.

Can this be right? It seems to me that something may not be right, but then I'm not the smartest when it comes to this part. Does it only start counting lines after you reach a certain point? It's supposed to count a 65-character line with spaces and tabs.
