Right click on your My Computer Icon on the desktop

> Properties > Hardware > Device Manager

and see if your pedal appears there on your selected port?

If not, you need to install your pedal / pedal driver first.

Your computer is not recognizing the pedal attached to it.

What windows version are you using?
