Using DOS based MedRite

Hi, I am wondering......for those who use the DOS-based Medrite platform, do you type directly into Medrite or do you type in Word then copy/paste into Medrite?

I use and love my instant text word expander, so I have been typing in Word then copying this into the Medrite system. The only thing that stinks is I lose the "bold" feature on my headings when it gets pasted into Medrite. So after pasting, I have to go through and re-bold all my headings manually... ~whine~

Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a way to "copy" the bold feature as well?
