You will be given a pneumonic for you only and then you sign on into the system with a password; the password changes periodically. Before you get to the actual screen where you will be typing, you will be choosing the modules such as OR (order entry), etc. After you type in your password, write down the numbers for each screen you are choosing. When you do this a few times, it will become second nature. After you learn how to get in and out and have any other questions, I will be happy to help you. F12 is your save document key. Shift F9 (I think) is your spell check key. Shift F6 is your end of the line key. F11 is your exit key. F7 goes to the top of the document. F8 goes to the bottom of the document. F6 is your back up key. Shift F12 is PCI (patient care information) - You can view everything on a patient in PCI, i.e., x-rays, lab, meds, etc. If you want to save a document and need to go back to it but don't want others to be able to view the document, put it in pending, otherwise leave it in Signed
