ESP in ExText

I lost my file in ESP in ExText. I have been on the phone for 3 days with Dictaphone tech support with no resolution. The Load button does not work. I decided to start again making shortcuts (what a pain!) but now when I get an expansion the abbrev shows up right after: "the patient tp." Does anyone out there know what to do??
