Dictaphone Instructions: Programming Keys: 1. Press the gray button under PROGM (far left under the display). If a security code is active, the system prompts for it before allowing you to go on to the next step. 2. Press the gray button under KEYS (far left and message appears: SELECT PROGRAM KEY. 3. Press the desired key to program. 4. Ender the correct codes for the program key. NOTES: "h If reprogramming a station, the codes are listed under the template. "h If there are (P)¡¦s shown on the template, these are pauses. Just press the PAUSE key (the divide key) on the right side of the keypad. "h If the key is already programmed, it shows the present program and asks: REVISE? YES?No 5. When done, press SELECT ( the X key right side of the keypad) to accept input. Message appears: SELECT PROGM KEY. 6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for additional keys. Once all keys are programmed, press STOP (first row of keys below the keypad). The time/date window appears. HIDDEN PROGRAM KEYS: Sometimes we may have programmed some hidden, which become #22-29. To access the hidden keys, follow steps 1 and 2 and then: "h Press the ACC (the minus key on the right side of the keypad), then press one of the black program keys on the left side of the template. "h If the minus key and the program key is selected, this is hidden key 22. If ¡§-¡§ key and then program key 2 is selected, then this is hidden key 23, etc. "h Follow with steps 4 through 7 as ___ ___ above. CHANGING DATE/TIME: 1. Press the gray button under PROGM (far left under the display). If a security codes was defined, the system prompts for it before allowing you to move to the next step). 2. Press the gray button under TIME (middle key under the display). 3. Press the gray button under NO when asked to change SECURITY. 4. Press the gray button under YES when asked to change time. 5. Enter the correct time. Press 2 for AM or 7 for PM. 6. Choose YES or NO when asked to change the date and enter the correct date. 7. Press STOP (first row of keys below the keypad). The time/date window appears.
