By default, Word saves file for Auto recovery after every 10 minutes. You must reduce this time to 2-3 minutes. So, if you started transcribing file at 10:00 and power went out at 10:09, there would be no saved document. Reduce your Auto Recovery Time: Word > Tools > Options > Save >
Check box: Allow background save
and then the next option:
Save autorecovery info every: 3 minutes Thanks,
