Which software are you using? If you are using a gameport footpedal, then you'll certainly need your gameport to be installed properly in order for it to work. Of course, you're not limited to having a Gameport footpedal for most transcription software. Your new computer certainly has a USB port. We can offer you a USB footpedal so that your gameport issue won't be an issue. We also offer (limited) support on the weekends. When I say "limited", I mean that someone is here on Saturdays to answer the phones and we can usually be reached by email on Sundays. Some weekends, we're here all weekend.
