It is similar to the C phone but it does not have the phone piece so it cannot be used as phone. It is a square box and a foot pedal. It has number pad that rings up the company or hospital where the work comes from. There is a comand pad on one side for next report, exit etc. You need a phone line to use it. I have used both Lanier and a C phone. They are very similar.
