Foot pedal won't work on new PC

My PC went out yesterday. I got a new one and am again working, but the foot pedal will not work. I keep getting the message that my game port driver is not properly configured. I didn't get a driver CD with the foot pedal. The old PC had Windows XP and so does this one. I bought this from Transcription Gear, but they do not have customer service on the weekends. Any help would be appreciated.
