Dictaphone Straight Talk

I just purchased a Straight Talk and when I plug it in and it goes through its checks I get "Service Now, Disk Not Ready" and the date. All the lights are lit up as well. Any suggestions? I saw a similar post on this board a while back but can't seem to find it now when I need it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
