that you can run the programs independentally of each other. You just create a unique directory name when you're installing the version you need. If that's not possible, I would do one of the following:

1. Install an el-cheao, small, hard internal hard drive and install the version of Word that your job requires. That's a good solution if you know how to install hard drives. Not everybody does.

2. Go to Circuit City and buy a 120 GB, external USB hard dirve for $129 (it's on sale this week). These are little beautities. You pop it into a USB port and voile! Instant hard drive.

'Cause to be totally honest, I don't think you want this option: back up your system and then install a product called Partition Magic, create two partitions, reformat each, reinstall your old "system" in one partition, and then install the other version of Word in the other. Not a pleasant job, especially if you want to re-merge both partitions later on.
