I mostly connect with a Dictaphone-like system, but I strongly doubt there's much of a difference. Either one, the foot pedal still gives out a digital signal.

Believe me, they can make that determination very quickly, if they choose to. I suppose the question really is, are you willing to take the risk? If you are, then get the service.
