I think you'll find by searching around that there is no such thing as an unlimited plan. Most of them have a limit in terms of how many minutes they allow per month (usually around 5000), and some emphatically state that they won't allow medical transcription. There are also some which don't recognize the "digital sound" of the foot pedal. You can get connected but that's about it. All you'll get is PLAY. You can't rewind or fast forward, and it won't backspace X-seconds when you move your foot up and down. You won't find this out until after you sign up. About the closest you'll get is AT&T, and that's *provided* the system you're calling always has AT&T. The cost is $19.95 per month (plus the usual taxes). I've been using this for several years without a problem. If the system you're calling into doesn't have AT&T, I recommend a prepaid calling card. The one I use is www.onesuite.com. It's 2.9 cents per minute, unless they have an access number in your area, whereby the cost is 2.5 cents per minute. Again, I've used it for several years and have never had a problem. The only "glitch" is you'll get a recording after about 3 hours that tells you that you only have one minute left. Just keep an eye on the clock. Hang up every 2-1/2 hours and call back, and everything will be okay.
