Sony M-2000 Microcassette Transcriber

Does anyone have a Sony M-2000 Microcassette Transcriber that is worth a hoot? My Panasonic RR-930 just blew up on me and I will NEVER own another one. I was getting ready to leave on a 100-mile trip tonight to go to Office Depot and purchase a Sony M-2000, but wanted some information on what kind of a machine it is...such as how long it lasts and if it is worth my money of $199.99 to invest in it?
