pedal that is compatible with whatever program you are using to play the voice files. Some foot pedals has connections for serial ports, some for game ports, and some for USB ports, but some foot pedals only work with certain software. Start/Stop and Bytescribe play a variety of files. I believe Express Scribe also plays a variety and this is free, but you still need a foot pedal.
