Format changes.

Format changes. Guidance, please? I am new to the working process. Living my dream. Thinking about going back to heavy, physical labor for a living. When I receive work, it seems the attachments arrive with different properties, MSWord is the one that I can seem to make work, full circle. MSWord for Windows seems to be the problem. This could be just me as I'm still learning my way around the computer. The first two jobs I completed and returned, were correct, print-out wise. Today's was totally messed up, even though I had finally managed to get it to the Word program I needed. I have WP 11. Parameters, etc...are words that have finally succeeded in making me feel lost! Any suggestions on how I might handle this dilemma would be greatly appreciated.
