On your Dictaphone console, there should be three small black buttons under the display screen. Hit the first button TWICE. Select program key should be in the display now. Press the button you want to program your headset to (1-15). Press the # key, the * key and then 11 using the keypad on the phone unit. Hit SELECT, which is the "X" key on the right hand side of the console. You should be all set. This will turn your headset ON/OFF to either hear dictation through the headset or play it over the speaker. E-mail me at jmullen1@adelphia.net if you need anymore help programming.
