I'm with MQ DQS. At the top of the page of your document, kind of in the middle and a bit to the right is a yellow "folder." If you'll click on this it will open a screen where you can adjust your foot pedal settings. I think it's set on 1 - I set mine to 0 and it back spaces just enough to catch the last syllable to two rather than the last several words.
