Description:
Transcription of Diagnostic reports using Dictaphone voice processing system and Meditech computer program; for all imaging reports, providing a permanent patient record
Ensure all related charges have been billed, and editing same as necessary
Editing of reports, problem solving, and troubleshooting as necessary
Signing off and printing of reports for distribution to floors, physicians, etc.
Other related duties as required

Qualifications:
Medical Secretarial Diploma with specialization in Medical Transcription
Excellent English language - verbal, listening and written skills
Strong knowledge and experience in transcription of Diagnostic Imaging and/or Health Records reports combined with knowledge of imaging procedures and their terminology a definite asset
Excellent and accurate keyboarding skills (80-100 wpm)
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team (nm)
