Rotating every third wkend/rotating holidays
Day & Evening Shifts
To transcribe various types of medical dictation in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications: Education: High school graduate with training beyond high school in medical record science or medical secretarial school mandatory. Experience: Previous experience in Medical Records and/or medical transcription desired with the ability to transcribe with a minimum of 70% accuracy rate. Other: Able to type 70 wpm. Knowledge and ability to use dictation equipment. Ability to use designated reference materials. Ability to work independently with close supervision and ability to work under pressure with time constraints. Certification: Level II - Certification, American Association of Medical Transcription plus two years of Medical Record Transcription experience at WMHS. Contact Information
