DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Transcription Manager, the experienced Transcriptionist will input a variety of medical reports on modern digital dictation system. Completion of a flexible work schedule with the option of working from home after training completion. Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent with successful completion of specialized schooling such as a transcription certificate program preferred. Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred. Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) preferred.
- Experience with acute care transcription in multiple specialty disciplines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other staff members.
- Able to pass tests in transcription and proofreading.
