Transcribes medical reports dictated by physicians for inclusion in the medical records and for transmission to physicians or other medical care facilities, using transcribing and word processing equipment.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of English grammar, spelling and medical terminology. Skill in transcribing medical reports, summaries, and other material. SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school graduation preferred. Certification as a Medical Transcriptions (CMT) preferred.
