Sunday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Interprets and transcribes dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnostics, etc., in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare service. Transciptionists will be physically located at CASB in Roanoke. Excellent typing and computer skills essential. Must be able to transcribe 12 min/hr. Job requires sitting at computer 90% of time. Must be able to transcribe voice dictation and work under deadlines. Job requires lifting up to 20 lbs. (paper, books, printer supplies).
