Cogent Healthcare, Inc. a national leader in inpatient management, seeks a Medical Transcriptionist in Daytona Beach, Florida.Job Summary:
Responsible for transcribing Physician and Clinical Care Coordinator dictations within timeframes as defined by corporate and specific client contracts. Accuracy, speed, focus and a good team spirit are keys to success in this position. All Cogent Healthcare, Inc. employees are required to become familiar and comply with all policies and procedures that are related to their specific position and with terms of employment.
Key Accountabilities:
1)Transcribe dictations per the following metrics:a)no spelling or typographical errors, b)Information documented in the appropriate location, c)complete an average of 3 jobs per hour (this metric does take into account job length variability) and d) 98% accuracy.
2)Refer missing information issues expeditiously.
3)Provide market and Service Center support.
4)Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1)High School diploma or equivalent.
2)Medical transcription certification.
3)Computer skills.
4)Knowledge of operation of various office equipment.
