Provide permanent medical transcription services to an acute care account based in Chicago that is a client of Transcend Services, Inc. This account uses Laniers (which we will provide), but candidates MUST have 2 phone lines and DSL or cable Internet (or be able to get it). The Lanier will dial into an 800 number. To work on this account, you will receive a $0.005 cpl differential to cover the cost of the 2nd phone line. If you own and maintain your own Lanier that you can use for this account, we will pay you an additional 1/2 cpl.
ONLY Available shifts are: * Sun-Th 6a-2p EST * Tu-Sat 11p-7a EST In addition to a highly competitive cpl rate and access to direct deposit, we offer production incentives, shift and certification differentials as well as a benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and long and short term disability. PTO begins accruing in your second year of service with the company.
Requirements · A minimum of 2 years recent work experience with hospital reports is required. 5 years is preferred. · 98% accuracy. · Candidates MUST have access to DSL or cable modem services. No satellite, wireless, or dial-up services are allowed, as they do not work well with our encryption software. · Must be able to work immediately in the US. · No offshore agencies or inquiries.
