Responsible for operating a word processing system. Operates transcribing and dictating equipment. Follows specified procedures for the formatting and dispatching of finished documents. Verifies patient demographics. Assures accuracy of finished documents and makes changes. Maintains the equipment. Assists physicians to verify status dictated reports. Maintains daily document summaries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Training of up to 18 months beyond the high school level, completion of a formal high school vocational program or equivalent knowledge with 1-2 years experience necessary.
