Transcribes reports dictated by physicians and other healthcare professionals for inclusion in patient's medical record.
Shift: 1st
Department: Medical Transcriptionist
Education: Prefer graduate of an accredited technical school specializing in Medical Transcription or equivalent experience. Must be a high school graduate.
Experience: Transcribes a minimum of 85 minutes of dictation per day. Must have excellent typing/transcription skills and above average command of English language and medical terminology, including anatomy, physiology and pharmacology. Experience in machine transcription required. One year experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Compensation: $10.50/hour minimum
