The Transcriptionist is responsible for creating and generating surgical case reports under the direction of the Group Leader or Pathologist of case. High School diploma or GED and fast, accurate typing skills required. Familiarity with medical terminology, dictaphone and word processing. Minimum one year experience transcribing medical reports; pathology experience preferred.
