EKG Transcriber - Cardiopulmonary
This position performs transcription of reports, correspondence, billing, receptionist duties, and general office duties. Maintains communication between technical staff, nursing units and physicians to ensure tests and reports are completed in a timely manner. Participates in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities and interdisciplinary teams as appropriate. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must have training in word processing, typing and medical terminology. Typing at 60 wpm required. Spreadsheet knowledge preferred. One year experience in hospital or medical office preferred.
