Transcribe various inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic reports according to established standards which are dictated by the medical staff.-Excellent word processing skills required.-Min 3 years medical transcription experience in an acute care setting. -Excellent knowledge of medical terminology.-Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully in order to interact appropriately with co-workers, physicians, patients and customers.-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with time constraints.-Ability to prioritize workload and maximize time usage-Works calmly and effectively when challenged.-High attention to detail and accuracy.-Reflects initiative and teamwork.-Excellent customer service skills required.-Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
