This position is responsible for supervising the Transcriptionists and clerical staff within the Transcription Department. The supervisor is responsible for supervising the day to day operation of the department, in addition to being responsible for completing yearly evaluations of Transcription Department staff. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Minimum Experience: Two years transcribing experience. Two years supervisor experience. Required Skills: Demonstrated skills in use of personal computers, word processing, transcription and dictation software.
