Transcriptionist will be physically located at the CASB in Roanoke. Must possess skills to interpret and transcribe dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnostics, etc. in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services. High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year experience transcribing medical dictation or a graduate of a recognized school of Medical Transcription. Must have excellent typing skills and some computer knowledge. Must maintain sitting position 95% of the workday and maintain high levels of concentration for long periods of time. Will have constant exposure to CRT screen. Works with little supervision and works under deadline conditions. Contact Information
