Health network is looking to hire a Director of Medical Records to oversee a 60 bed hospital, a 26 bed hospital and some hospital run clinics in the area. This position is located in a beautiful area in Wisconsin with many wonderful recreational opportunities nearby. The position reports to the Vice President of Finance and supervises 15 FTEs. The hospital would consider either an RHIA or an RHIT with management or supervisory experience. This person would be responsible for the daily operations of the Medical Records Department including coding, transcription and release of information. The Director would also be responsible for budgeting, staff training and serving as a consultant for the hospitals nursing home.
