High school diploma or equivalent is required
1-2 years experience is required
Computer experience is required
Customer service skills
Transcribes medical reports, answers phones, types, files and processes documentation. Works under general supervision. Medical Transcription certification highly desirable.
QUALIFICATIONS: 6–12 months’ experience. High school diploma or equivalent required, secretarial science coursework preferred. Previous secretarial experience or equivalent education medical transcription. Knowledge of medical terminology required, medical transcription certificate, ART, RRA or CMT preferred. Basic computer knowledge. 55 wpm typing speed.
