As one of the top 100 hospitals in the united States in 1999 and Sacramento's first private hospital, Mercy General, with 300 beds, has a long history of providing excellent healthcare. Located at it's current location since 1925, the hospital is regarded as one of the area's most progressive medical center. Mercy General cardiovascular program is nationally recognized as a leader in comprehensive cardiac services including cardiac surgery, cath lab, electrophysiology lab and a reconditioning program. Rehabilitation programs include a renowned acute stroke program, brain injury rehabilitation, coma management and orthopedic rehabilitation. Th hospital also provides critical care, emergency and general med/surg services, as well as a family birth center and special care nursery. An additional 95 subacute/snf beds are on site. We are also launching are new PACS (Picture Archiving communication System) in 2004. In addition, we have been approved for a new DR (Digital Radiography) room and Nagio suite set to launch in 2005. This will integrate technology and skilled staff to provide one of the best imaging service in Sacramento. Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED; at least 1 yr path transcription exp pref; computer skills; anatomic path terminolgy; excellent written and oral communication; 65 WPM; Flexible Schedule.
