Transcribes medical dictation originating from all medical/surgical specialties and ancillary service specialties. Maintains 97% accuracy rate for all transcription. Transcribes at a minimum rate of eleven (11) minutes of dictation per hour. When assistance is not otherwise provided, faxes, photocopies transcribed reports and delivers to nursing units or other hospital locations as required. Operates hospital computer system terminal for access to patient identifying information necessary to perform duties. Utilizes hospital’s digital dictation system and electronic transcription system. Maintains patient record confidentiality. Answers telephone requests for information regarding status of dictation and transcription of medical reports. Contact Information:
