Porter Transcription is located in beautiful office space that is quiet, spacious, and conducive to the needes of a transcriptonist. The transcriptionists and management at Porter are professional, friendly, helpful, team oriented, and dedicated to producing a superior product. HS Dip/GED and either Associates Degree or other technical work experience or training, 1+ years experience in transcribing general medicine dictation in an acute care setting required. No credentialing required. Responsible for transcribing medical dictation, including all general medicine report types, radiology,&pathology. Hours are 3:30 - midnight, Monday through Friday. Must have the ability to stay focused, concentrate on technical, detailed information. Must be familiar with Word and have good computer skills. Must be a team player. (tm)
