Tucked into the foothills of Camarillo, St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital was founded in 1974 by community leaders concerned about the health needs of the town. Now merged with St. John's Regional Medical Center in nearby Oxnard, Pleasant Valley Hospital houses 82 acute-care beds, a 99-bed extended care unit, and the only hyperbaric medicine unit in Ventura County. Together, the two facilities employ 1,800 people and count 250 active medical staff.

St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital offers a full range of services, including obstetrics, diagnostic procedures, in-patient and outpatient surgeries, and state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment in neurology and cancer. Located at our Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo, this position requires HS grad or equivalent, 2 yrs experience in transcription. Duties include transcription or pathology dictation into patient chart. (nm)
