Under the direction of the Assistant Director HIS, the medical transcriptionist is responsible for the complete transcription of confidential medical reports, diagnostic workups, therapeutic procedures and clinical resumes within the established standards and goals of the department. The transcriptionist will produce difficult and specialized reports that require expertise in varied areas of medical transcription including, but not limited to, History and Physical Examination, Consultation, Operative Reports, Special Procedures, Cardiovascular Procedures, Discharge Summaries and Radiology.
