Job Description: We have immediate openings for skilled voice recognition specialists to do Nephrology, Neurosurgery, ENT and General Practice accounts. Tech Requirements: ¸ Bytescribe version 4 or StartStop WAV player ¸ Filemaker Pro version 6 or higher ¸ Internet connection via FTP browser ¸ AAMT Book of Style Experience requirements: ¸ 6 years as a full-time MT, preferably 3 years as an independent contractor ¸ Self-sufficiency ¸ Reliability ¸ Ability to stand up to IRS scrutiny ¸ HIPAA compliance ¸ Familiarity with data base programs ¸ Excellent grammar skills ¸ Sense of humor ¸ Computer savvy ¸ Outstanding business references, min 3 - we will check Beginning 2004, we are anticipating several openings in the following disciplines: ¸ Neurology ¸ Oncology ¸ Pediatrics ¸ Urology These will require graveyard and/or weekend shifts and will include a shift differential. Method of sending/receiving dictation: Dictations are either called in to our remote system via a toll-free number or are uploaded to our FTP site via secure connection. MTs download voice files from the FTP site. Dictations are sent to the clients via VPN connection.
Compensation Information: 7.5-8.5 cpl DOE; 9 cpl for no-edit status; shift differential
