EQUIPMENT
My office consist of a computer with online access and call waiting, a digital and a manual transcriber, a memory typewriter, a printer, yahoo messenger, FTP Explorer – Security Accessed, Winfax Basic Edition, Word 97 with Medical words spell checker, and data entry practice testing, and various word term lists for spell check.

I am a multi-task orientated self-starter who is flexible and is willing to learn new jobs. Here are my current testing scores - Typing between 5,000 - 8,000 Alpha numeric and between 8,000- 10,000 10 key numeric kph. Omni Transcription Test 115 points, Excel 7.0 Basic 53%, Power-Point 7.0 54%, Word 7.0 78%, WordPerfect 7.0 100%, Access 7.0 71% Up to 50 pages per hour. My speed is at 46wpm with 97% accuracy.

Interning with a mentor in Rheumatology and Metabolic Bone Disease at AMA Trans Am . Com. For them, I have transcribed Clinic notes and Consultations. I have a list of Medical terms, which they use. Their dictation has gradually increasing background noise, as well as, increasing speed. They have a confidential FTP address, where I can upload and download the transcription online. I enjoy this very much, this is all like an internship, no income is received.
