I am probably a little late noting your ad, but here goes. I am currently employed in a high profile, very busy orthopaedic office. I have worked in this office for the past 25+ years as a medicalsecretary/transcriptionst. My duties include transcribing daily office notes, in-office x-rays reports, medical-legal reports, letters to compensation carriers, IMEs, etc. Some of my other duties would not transfer to working online, so I will not mention them. I plan to leave this job the first of the year and wish to work part-time from my home thereafter. My prior work experience was in the medical records departments of three local hospitals, pathology department, and OR. I also worked for one year for a psychiatrist (not my favorite job!) Over the years, I have done manuscript typing and general typing for doctors of varying specialties.
