For all we know, the doctor was referring to septic arthritis of the elbow. Aseptic elbow doesn't make much sense since all joints are essentially aseptic in the absence of infection or other process. One certainly should not assume the doctor means aseptic necrosis unless he specifically dictates aseptic necrosis. jmho
