The only time I've ever gotten raises was after passing 90 days probation and after my annual employee review. Honestly, I have never asked for a raise at any other time. You mentioned not wanting to wait two years to be at $0.11 cents per line. There aren't many MTs making that amount as a subcontractor or employee unless they are extremely fast, accurate, and experienced.

I would count yourself lucky to be making more than $0.08 cpl as a relatively new MT. Most new MTs start out making less than that no matter how much medical experience or education they have. Those companies that do pay incentive usually only give it for doing more than 10,000 lines per pay period (two weeks). Good luck with it.
