P represents the wave produced by the atrial contraction. QRS is the whole ventricular contraction (bigger wave bec of thicker muscles and having more electrical conduction). T is the relaxation phase of the ventricles (relaxation wave of the atrium is masked by the QRS. ST is the period between the end of the ventricular contraction and the start of relaxation phase. When there is an infarct, it results to a disruption of electrical conduction, therebey leading to increased or decreased wave.
