Yes, it works. I had a 150 pound part mastiff, part St. Bernard, who had arthritis really bad, could hardly do the steps anymore. She was about 12, which is pretty old for a big dog. The vet gave her pills which cost about $100, don't remember exactly, but I gave her those, and then got the ingredients and went to the health food store, and got the closest to it that I could get for about $30. They also worked. Then since the main ingredient was the glucosamine, MSM, and chondroitin, I switched to that, Walgreen's brand, and that worked just as well. I told my vet what I was giving her, and she said, if it works, continue it. Don't forget the MSM, however; that is an anti-inflammatory.
