Help. Finger pain and stiffness. SM

Does anyone else have this problem? I have noticed pain and stiffness in my left pointer finger for some time now. It starts at the knuckle and goes up the finger. It used to come on in the morning at the beginning of my shift and slowly just go away. Now it is not going away and it is VERY difficult to type.

I might even have to send all my work back for today cause it hurts so much. I really do not like to send work back. First off I need the money, second off my boss is very busy these last few weeks, actually she always seems to be very busy and I feel bad not being able to help out.

Has anyone else ever been in this dilemma?
