or Boys and Girls Club, high schools, or a local hospital. I know in my area, all of these places have babysitting training classes, of which most include CPR certification. The places that hold the classes have lists of sitters that have completed the training and are anxious to find a decent babysitting job.

As far as pricing is concerned, the older they get, the more they want. I'd say right around $3.50 - $4.00 an hour depending on how old they are and how much is required of them. Just make sure they get tipped if they go out of their way and wash the dishes or something.

I had a wonderful babysitter when my kids were younger and she was a cleaning freak. My house was always spotless. She was tipped very nicely and it was worth every penny of it.
